Remote Access now has a Wake On Lan feature – March 2007

Primary Schools who purchase the Remote Access service from Primary Technology can now remotely wake up their computer. This means you can be sat at home, turn on your work computer then remote in. This is part of our 2007 green initiative. To Remotely wake up your computer simply click the alarm clock next to your computers name on the remote access screen.

  1. Another Remote Access product I know that is perfectly eco-friendly is RHUB http://www.rhubcom.com solution. It is a router-like device that consumes less than 5 watts, which is less than that consumed by a LED nightlight. Moreover, it is completely noiseless as there is no fan. It is concise, and can be placed anywhere.
